Hi Everyone, just wanted to post a few shots of a 2017 SR22 that Cirrus brought in yesterday. We hope to have a couple 2017 SR series aircraft to fly soon. Not sure exactly what capacity that will be at this time, but stay tuned for info. coming shortly……
The new wingtip lighting really is dazzling
If you are like me, you enjoy reading about airplanes, Cirrus airplanes in particular and now about the new Cirrus Vision Jet. I also enjoy reading about other pilots experiences, hoping that I can glean something from what they did; good or bad. Hello, my name is Tim McConnell
and welcome to my new blog, “Tim’s Tailwinds”, I am a PLATINUM Cirrus Standardized Instructor Pilot (CSIP) from Greenville, SC. I spend a lot of my time at the Cirrus aircraft factory in Duluth, MN and at the new Cirrus Vision Center in Knoxville, TN. usually picking up new airplanes or training new Cirrus owners and pilots as they take delivery of their new Cirrus. I really enjoy the time I spend with each client and I strive to make a new friend each and every time.
I hope that you will follow along with me on “Tim’s Tailwinds” as I tell you more about my background and some of the experiences I’ve had. (and continue to have) I’ve really come to love my career of working with airplanes and pilots and every interaction creates it own story. As a pilot and flight instructor I’ve experienced everything from “close calls” to some “hilarious stories”, and I plan to share them all with you. I will also include current stories about what I am up to as well as what Cirrus Aircraft and other Companies are doing too. Watch for my new blog entries every Friday.
Tim and I attended the CX 2017 Cirrus Experience, and got to see the 2017 Cirrus SR series as well as the SF50 Vision jet. This explains a little bit about the 2017 SR series.
